Patnitop is among the most popular hill resorts of Jammu & Kashmir, located in the Udhampur district on a serene plateau in the Shivalik range of the Himalayas.
Situated at an altitude of 2,024 metres, Patnitop offers a breathtaking natural landscape. The Chenab River flows close to the region, while lush meadows, dense forests of Deodar (Cedar) and Kail (Blue Pine), and panoramic views of the Chenab basin and Pir Panjal range create a truly unforgettable running environment.
The Patnitop Marathon is designed to combine endurance sport with nature at its finest, making it one of India’s most scenic and challenging hill races.

Every registered participant will receive:
Official race-day T-shirt
Finisher’s medal
Post-race breakfast

21.1 KM & 10 KM:
Top 3 winners in each age category will receive cash prizes, to be distributed within 90 days of event completion.
5 KM Race:
Top 3 winners in each category will receive a winner’s trophy and certificate.
All registrations for 50 KM, 21.1 KM, 10 KM, and 5 KM categories are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No spot registrations will be allowed
Participants must wear their official BIB at all times
Participants without a valid BIB will not be permitted to race
Hydration support will be available on race day
Participants must ensure they are medically fit to run or walk
Ambulance and paramedical teams will be available for safety
Volunteers will be present for general guidance and assistance
The Patnitop Marathon follows strict race integrity standards. Participants may be disqualified for any of the following violations:
A. Impersonation or running with another participant’s BIB
B. Proxy running or running with multiple BIBs
C. Submission of false information, especially incorrect date of birth
D. Course deviation or course cutting
E. Prior disqualification by other national or international event organizers
F. Any violation of the above rules
